"He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses."

--Proverbs 28:27 NIV

"and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday."

--Isaiah 58:10 NIV

I have enjoyed the blessing of being a Rotarian for over three years now. Two of those three years were spent as the International Service Director of my affiliated club. As I grew in my appreciation of my club's service, the service of Rotary International and my knowledge of needs throughout the world, I found a new calling emerged in my life.

In July 2007, a new calling became evident in my life. No longer was it enough for me to participate from the "sidelines," I needed to get onto the "field" and into action. Suddenly I had new visions and my dreams dramatically changed. Within a short time, the course of my life changed considerably.

Please use the links above to learn more about Rotary International and my affiliated projects. In doing so, you will understand more of my calling and those things dearest to my heart.
