What are the Benefits of Massage?
by Dr. David L. Wick, D.C.

Many of our patients are either experiencing the benefits of massage or are interested in whether or not they would benefit from it. Such being the case, here are some of the benefits I consider important when recommending massage for patients:

  1. Aids the chiropractic adjustment by releasing tension in the muscles attached to the vertebrae
  2. Provides relief from muscle tension stiffness
  3. Increases flexibility in the joints
  4. Increases circulation of blood & lymph
  5. Boosts immune function
  6. Enhances performance in most physical activities, serving as a great complement to most any exercise program
  7. Enhances recovery ability
  8. Helps reduce stress & anxiety
  9. Increases alertness & awareness
  10. Promotes overall sense of wellbeing

I'm privileged to work alongside an excellent massage therapist, Celia Kohrman. To determine if you are a good candidate for her massages, call my clinic for an evaluation at (952) 890-5888.
